With a mechanical strength 2 - 3 times that of annealed glass, this heat treated glass conforms to BS 6206, EN 1863, IS 6640, BS 857, ANSIZ - 97 American Standards. It offers reduced thermal breakage due to better edge strength and higher thermal endurance. It is used largely in structural facade glazing or places where temperature variations are high. This glass offers low risk of breakages for installed glasses due to thermal expansion and better edge strength.
Thickness Range: 4mm - 12mm (Maximum Size available up to 2440 x 4880mm)
